Frye Regional Medical Center Appoints Tim Kagle as Vice President of Operations

Frye Regional Medical Center, a Duke LifePoint facility, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Kagle as vice president of operations. With more than 27 years of experience in health care administration, Kagle brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the hospital’s executive team.
In his new role, Kagle will oversee the hospital’s operational strategies, drive efficiencies and continue to foster a high standard of patient and family-centered care. His extensive background in hospital leadership, paired with his commitment to operational excellence, will play a key role in advancing Frye Regional’s mission of making communities healthier®.

Before joining Frye Regional, Kagle most recently served as vice president of surgical services and president, UPMC rehabilitation network at UPMC in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In that capacity, he successfully managed multiple departments, providing both administrative and clinical oversight. Kagle’s prior roles have focused on driving patient outcomes, increasing patient satisfaction, improving employee engagement, growing patient volumes and ensuring regulatory compliance and financial performance.
Kagle’s career has also included senior leadership positions, including chief executive officer at Greenwood Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Greenwood, South Carolina; administrative vice president at Saint Clair Hospital in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania; and vice president of operations at Encompass Health (formerly HealthSouth) in Birmingham, Alabama.

Earning his Master of Business Administration from Troy University in Troy, Alabama, Kagle also received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Throughout his career, he has served on multiple boards, in many leadership capacities, across several states.
